Another busy week at the Cuddie Brae with more new teams!
Quiz Khalifa
After a decent period of absence from the quiz, Quiz Khalifa made a return with two new players. Convincing winners leaving the rest over 200 points behind. It is good to see you guys back again but I am not sure that getting married is a good enough reason to miss this amazing quiz and quizmaster, you really need to get your priorities right.
That aside, good choice of supporting players. Seemed to be pretty clever guys helping to bolster the usual 4.
Scoreboard
The scoreboard was split into two groups. The top 4 teams were pretty much going for it and pulled well clear of the rest. The other teams were pretty closely bunched together with one exception.
The handicapping is still working well and doesn’t need to be adjusted at this point. The AA’s and The Belters are on a bit of a run just now, having had a number of good weeks.
The Dipshits still hanging in there, your time will come! Dumb and Dumber used to have a regular third-place finish but have been MIA at recent quizzes, or are they playing tactically?
New Teams
In seventh place, we had a new team, 4th of July. These guys look like they have potential. Some pretty good answers mixed in with some really good luck and guesses.
Our other new team, Aitchi, ended in second-last place. Not to worry, this was your first time and it does take a wee bit of time to get used to the way it works. Also, the handicapping system will give you a bigger boost next time.
I hope to see both teams back again soon.
Jackpot Games
Neither of the Jackpot games was won this week so carry forward to next week with bigger jackpots waiting to be won.
Open The Box is now at another record high of £665 and Take It Or Leave It is now £57.
