Winners? No Photo?

This week saw the very first win for The Belters. They earned themselves the £25 bar voucher and they also won the nearest wins question and walked away with a large box of Maltesers. Well done to you both, even though I know it is a bit one-sided as far as input is concerned.

Definitely not shy but they just don’t like their photo being taken. I’m happy with that as my camera is good for at least another week!

It was another close result, as you will see from the table below. The AA’s are having a bit of a good run right now coming in third. The Boys From Brazil have more in them but were one man short and lingering near the bottom of the leaderboard.

Mind Your Own Quizness? Well, what can I say except that you must have been after the Mini Eggs.

For some strange reason, the scoreboard this week will not load correctly and displays upsides down. So for this week, I have copied the scoreboard below.

Fair Play

I had hoped this day would never come. Last week we had a case of a team using another device to gain an advantage over the other teams. I had to take action as the final result of the quiz was directly impacted by this action.

Can I just stress that the quiz is supposed to be fun. It isn’t a serious quiz, there are other quizzes about that are serious if that is what you want. This quiz is light-hearted.

Please note that in the interests of fairness and to avoid rule nitpicking, no other device other than the one being used with the app should be active during the quiz. It is fine to do whatever you want to do during the breaks. I like to be fair and flexible and will continue to be so, but I now need to be more alert to this issue.

Fortunately, this is the first instance of this behaviour in a number of years and I believe it is highly unlikely to happen again.

Jackpot Games

Both jackpots increase again this week with only £1 being won on Take It Or Leave It and no winner on Open The Box. I’ll post the new figures shortly.
