First-time attendees at 32Below, Do or Drink, are decisive winners on 14/05/19
Exams, exams, exams!
With the exams continuing this week, the turnout was again quite low. Only 5 teams taking part and a new team winning on their very first attempt. We done to Do or Drink who won the £30 cash prize.
Stick in with the studying, and the exams, they are far more important than any quiz night!
Scoreboard
Five teams, four of them finishing very close because of the handicapping system. Do or Drink were a new team and were given an average handicap to start the quiz. It looks like this was too high since they won so convincingly. Next time you guys will have a more representative handicap based on your score. It will be a much closer scoreboard.
I will be back again this week, 21/05/19, for another 5 rounds of quiz. I hope to see you all there!
One last thing!
The end of the university year is getting close. Can I ask each team to let me know if you are available out of term times. We want to continue running the quiz right through the holiday period, but we have to have some teams to do this.
I appreciate many of you live away from Edinburgh. For those of you who are staying in Edinburgh during this time, can you please let me know.
