Standsure, eventually, won our quiz on January 6th 2022. Another day, another win for one of our most successful teams at the Cuddie Brae.

After announcing the winners at the end of the quiz, I was asked to check the result of the final 100 point nearest wins question. After checking I found that I hadn’t updated the points value of the question from 30 points to 100 points.
This meant that Standsure, the team answering closest to the correct answer, was awarded 30 points instead of 100 This left them in third place with 1162 points. Once the scores were corrected, Standsure was awarded the win on 1232 points.
Luckily, The Boys From Brazil are easy-going guys and were happy to give up their title to Standsure.
Just to rub salt into the wounds of the Boys, Standsure were the recipients of both tickets at the end of the night, they went on to claim £60 in cash.
It was another closely fought out quiz. We had 5 teams with a chance to win on the final 100 point question. Standsure was the outright winner on the night.
Jackpot Games
There were no Jackpot winners last week.
£1 was won on Take It Or Leave It.
The Take It Or Leave It jackpot will be £79 at our next quiz.
The BIG game, Open The Box, had a jackpot prize of £430. There was no winner so this increases to £445 for our next quiz.

It is even more important now than ever, due to fewer tables being available because of the current virus advice, to make sure you book your tables in advance. It would be a great help if all teams could be there and ready for 745 pm. This will allow time to get any connection issues sorted as well as the handicapping in place ready to start.
