NO QUIZ THURSDAY 14/10/21
Throughout the imposed closure of businesses in 2020/1, and perhaps 2022, by our government my business ground to a total halt with £0 income. A little help in the form of benefits and a grant enabled my business to get to this point with an outlook to return to previous levels.
During the lockdowns, I had every event either cancelled or postponed. It was a case of flipping a coin to determine whether I would come out of this mess with my business intact. It was also very stressful wondering what business might be like.
To give me a better chance of survival, I made the decision that I would need to take whatever solutions were thrown at me. This resulted in some postponed events being rebooked on Thursdays. For this reason, I have three Thursdays I cannot do the quiz. It is unfortunate and my preference would always be to do the quiz but I had to make a decision to keep my clients happy and my business afloat. The Cuddie Brae were, understandably, in no position to guarantee any work so decisions had to be made.
The dates of no quiz are 14/10/21, 30/06/22 and 21/07/22. I have reserved all other Thursdays for only the quiz. As always, I have good solid links with various clients where I may still need to cancel other Thursday quizzes but this will be kept to an absolute minimum.

It is even more important now than ever, due to fewer tables being available because of the current virus advice, to make sure you book your tables in advance. I would suggest getting onto the Cuddie Brae booking site a week in advance and reserving your favourite table. Click the image below to do just that.

If you leave it too late and can’t book online, contact the Cuddie Brae directly by Facebook or phone on 0131 657 1212. You never know your table ‘might’ still be available.
Get In Early!
It would be a great help if all teams could be there and ready for 745 pm. This will allow time to get any connection issues sorted as well as the handicapping in place ready to start.
