On Wednesday 15th April 2026, Premier SpeedQuizzing delivered a fully hosted corporate quiz evening at the iconic Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh for Lloyds Banking Group. It was one of the most memorable evenings we’ve delivered — a packed room, genuine competition, and the kind of finish that had the whole group on their feet.
The event
The Scotsman Hotel — one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious venues, housed in the former offices of The Scotsman newspaper on North Bridge — provided the backdrop for an evening of fast-paced, fully interactive SpeedQuizzing. Every attendee played on their own smartphone, with scores updating live on screen after every question.
The evening ran through several general knowledge rounds, a music round, a picture round, and a Music Bingo session that drew the biggest reaction of the night. The leaderboard was tight throughout — teams within a handful of points of each other right up to the final Nearest Wins question.
