Three venues, one great night this week across Edinburgh. Here’s a quick round-up of what happened at Edinburgh Street Food, The Pleasance, and Teviot Row — and what to expect if you come along to any of them next time.
Edinburgh Street Food — Leith Street
Another packed night at Edinburgh Street Food. The general knowledge rounds were tight all the way through. The leaderboard was shifting right up to the final question — exactly the kind of finish that keeps people talking on the way home.
Edinburgh Street Food is one of the most consistently well-attended SpeedQuizzing nights in the city. If you haven’t been along yet, the format is simple — just turn up with your phone and a team, grab some food, and join in. It’s free to play and there are prizes for the top three teams each week.
The Pleasance — EUSA
The Pleasance quiz is always one of the most competitive nights of the week. The EUSA crowd takes SpeedQuizzing seriously, and the standard of play is consistently high. The music round brings some genuinely impressive displays of music knowledge — and a few moments of complete bafflement that keeps things entertaining.
The Pleasance quiz runs throughout two semesters during the university year so keep a close eye on the event dates page and make sure you get along for a fantastic night.
The Pleasance is one of Edinburgh’s most iconic venues and a brilliant setting for a quiz night. Check the event dates page for the next one.
Teviot Row — EUSA
Teviot Row delivers another great evening in one of Edinburgh’s most impressive buildings.
Running quiz nights at both The Pleasance and Teviot Row means Premier SpeedQuizzing now has two of EUSA’s most popular venues covered. Both are great nights — and both are currently closed until the new semester in September, check upcoming dates for both.
