The Thursday night Ravelston House quiz is one of the most established SpeedQuizzing nights in East Lothian, and the regulars never disappoint. This week’s general knowledge rounds were closely contested all the way through — several teams were separated by just a handful of points going into the final round. The music round shook things up nicely, and the nearest wins question at the end produced the kind of collective groaning that means everyone was right on the edge of getting it.

The Iona Bar on Easter Road delivered another great local quiz this week. The crowd at Iona Bar has real character — teams that know each other, a bit of history between certain regulars, and the kind of banter that makes the evening feel like more than just a quiz. The picture round this week produced some genuine surprises — faces that seemed like they should be obvious but had even the most confident teams second-guessing themselves.

Prestonpans Labour Club
The Prestonpans Labour Club quiz has one of the most loyal crowds of any Premier SpeedQuizzing venue — and this week was no exception. The atmosphere at Prestonpans is always warm and competitive in equal measure, and the SpeedQuizzing format suits the venue perfectly. Music Bingo drew the biggest reaction of the night, with a final song that divided the room right down the middle.
