We had another new team as winners again this week. Conors Matching Set won a close fought quiz on their first and last visit. As students at Queen Margaret University, this was their last day in Edinburgh. Their course is now over so they all now depart to go their own separate ways.

Scoreboard
It was a very close race to the top with no less than nine teams vying for the win. Conors Matching Set was in eight place but the 100 points nearest wins question gave them a victory by 40 points. Fatboy Jim pulled off a memorable finish in second place.
There were just over 200 points separating the top 13 teams. Mind Your Own Quizness, often one of our better teams had a nightmare coming LAST. Maybe the copious quantities of alcohol they were consuming had something to do with that!
BUSY NOISY NIGHT!
It was a very busy night for us and with 14 teams and a total of 47 quizzers, the noise level sometimes got out of control. It is fantastic to see so many people taking part but when it is so busy please consider the amount of noise being generated.
Jackpot Games
Neither jackpot game gave up its jackpot again so they both continue on to next week. The Take It Or Leave It game did have a £19 Geordie winner, a reet!, and both attempts at Open The Box failed.
Book Your Table
Take a note of your favourite table number and book in advance for the quiz nights. It is becoming more important to book in advance.
