First win for Muckin’ Fuppets!

After coming close a few times over recent weeks, the Muckin Fuppets eventually get their first win.
Scoreboard

Only 4 teams this week! We have had more and hopefully, we can get some new teams on board soon but 4 fun and happy teams are better than 10 eejits. Not that these guys aren’t eejits, quite the opposite in the case of 50% of them, but guid eejits, I think.
The Mucking Fuppets bring it home with a good win. It wasn’t a special performance but a steady one to win the day. There was a chance they could get caught but they sorted that out by also winning the nearest wins 100 point question.
Last week’s winners, Ghosts Of Buccleuch Past (known as the Gamblers last week) totally bombed. It was a miserable attempt they need to sort out for next time. This week, after the handicap was removed they scored 444 points, last week it was 1080, wtf?
Nearest wins
This week’s question….
Q: In August 2016, Finnish stunt driver Vesa Kivimäki broke the world record for the fastest speed performing a side wheelie in a car. With only the left-hand wheels on the ground, in miles per hour, what speed did Vesa achieve?
A: 116 mph
Muckin Fuppets were closest by a long margin with a guess of 111mph.
Worst Team Of The Night
Enough said about that already but 50 numpty points to the Ghosts next time..
Jackpot Games
Take It Or Leave It.
After handing out £31 last week it was good to get back to the default win of £1. It makes me feel so much better……
Next week the jackpot will be £30, good luck with that.
Music Bingo
TINA was the theme, we paid out £6 for a line and £15 for the house. The line was won by one of the Crazy Mixed Up Kids who would have also won the full house if only they had been paying attention. They missed the song long before the house was called by The Wallaces.
Book Your Table Now!
If you would like to book a table to ensure you get a good position in the room then contact The Buccleuch on 0131 563 9901. Remember to tell them how many people will be coming. Also if you later find you cannot attend then call again to cancel. Please also respect that regular teams have their regular tables.
Get In Early!
It would be a great help if all teams could be there and ready for 645 pm. This will allow time to get any connection issues sorted and the handicapping in place and ready to start.
