Creepy Blinders and Some Evil Random
After a few here-and-there show-ups, the Creepy Blinders are back in the game with another win. They kicked off with ZERO points but hustled their way to the top, scoring big with 100 points for nailing the nearest wins and snagging an extra 50 points on the free-answer question. Without those bonus points, The Hairy Trollies, a mashup team of the Hair Blair Bunch and the Hostess Trollies, would’ve taken the victory.

As the final round of questions wrapped up, three teams found themselves perched at the summit of the scoreboard, eagerly anticipating the decisive Nearest Wins questions. The Hairy Trollies claimed the top spot, with The Lonely Wino following closely in second, and the Creepy Blinders securing the third position. Any of these teams stood a chance to clinch victory as the Nearest Wins questions loomed ahead.

Tonight the crappy team award goes to a new team, ACS finishing last. They get a 50-point starter along with an improved handicap going on to their next quiz.

Tonight’s jackpot reached £71, and the fortunate team to vie for it was the Drinking Team With A Quizzing Problem. As the game progressed, with values fluctuating between highs and lows, we eventually arrived at the final two boxes. One contained £4, and the other held the coveted £71. The moment of decision arrived as we deliberated over which box to eliminate. After a bit of confusion, a choice was made, adding an extra layer of anticipation to the jackpot reveal.
To my relief, it was the wrong one! £4 to the winner and we go on next week to £73.
Open The Box
The Open The Box goes forward to next week with the £300 still intact. Drinking Team With A Quizzing Problem won the draw, again, to choose a baw fi’ the bag but out came the wrong ball so no with there.

We shelled out £20 for a line and £46 for the full house in our music bingo game. The Dipshits snagged the line victory after just 10 songs—kudos to Steven! The full house, however, went to the ‘incredibly fortunate’ Zoo Crew, causing a bit of disappointment among some other teams. Tough cookie guys, it is what it is.
