What we bring to your venue
Completely self-contained setup. We bring all the technology — wireless buzzers, screens, laptop, PA system, and everything needed to run a full quiz night. You don’t need to provide anything except the room and the Wi-Fi password.
Fully hosted from start to finish. James runs the entire evening — question rounds, scoring, banter, music rounds, and gameshow games. Your staff can focus on the bar. Nothing is left to chance.
Automatic scoring, zero disputes. SpeedQuizzing handles all scoring automatically and displays results live on screen throughout the night. There are no paper sheets to collect, no marking to do, and no arguments about answers at the end of a round.
A format that builds regulars. The SpeedQuizzing format creates genuine competitive tension — live leaderboards, speed bonuses, and gameshow-style rounds that people talk about afterwards. Teams come back because the experience is consistently better than a traditional pub quiz. Venues that run regular SpeedQuizzing nights typically see strong repeat attendance within a few weeks of launching.
Flexible formats. A standard quiz night runs for around two hours and includes general knowledge, picture rounds, music rounds, and at least one high-energy game like Music Bingo or Play Your Cards Right. Rounds can be themed or customised to suit your venue and clientele. We can also run standalone Music Bingo nights, gameshow evenings, or fully bespoke formats for special events.
Optional DJ finish. James also runs Premier Disco and can keep the night going with a DJ set after the quiz — turning a quiz night into a full evening of entertainment without any additional organisational effort on your part.

How it works
Getting started is straightforward. We’ll have a conversation about your venue, your typical crowd, and what night of the week works best. We’ll agree on a format and a start date, and then we take care of everything from there.
Most venues choose to run a regular weekly night on a quieter evening — Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays tend to work well — where a quiz night can make a meaningful difference to footfall and bar spend. We’re also available for one-off special events, seasonal nights, and private hire.
