The Boys From Brazil, winners at last!
The Boys From Brazil were our quiz winners on April 14th 2022. It has been a while in the making for this very welcomed and well-deserved victory. This time there was no stewards enquiry so they got to keep the win.

Scoreboard
It was a pretty decent tonight with The Boys From Brazil winning quite convincingly ahead of Dumb & Dumber who are also overdue for their next win. The Newbies came in third place which is pretty impressive since they are such a new team.
Right at the bottom of the scoreboard is one of our best teams, The Tone Rangers. It just didn’t happen for them tonight but I am sure they will turn it around.
Jackpot Games
There were no Jackpot winners this week again.
£8 was won on Take It Or Leave It by The Boys From Brazil.
The Take It Or Leave It jackpot will be £108 at our next quiz. The jackpot continues to increase each week to set new records.
The BIG game, Open The Box, had a jackpot prize of £750 with only 4 balls in play. Both attempts to win surprisingly failed now leaving just 2 balls for next week. The new jackpot is now £795 for the first draw and £250 for the second. There will definitely be a winner on Thursday!
Music Bingo
Our theme this week was children’s TV show theme tunes. It sounded like a good idea in my head at the time but I am not sure this one worked so well. What do you think? Why not suggest a theme for a future bingo round?
We paid out £8 for a line to The Crusaders, one of our new teams. We are looking forward to seeing you next week.
The full house was won by The Team With No Name who go home £19 the richer.
New Teams
It was good to see a couple of new teams last night. The Crusaders won some cash on the Music Bingo round and X Man and The Professor also visited us for the first time. Neither team performed particularly well but that is normal on the first couple of visits until you get used to how this works. You will both be starting with a higher score next time.
Both teams say they will be visiting again next week. We look forward to seeing you there.

It is even more important now than ever, due to fewer tables being available because of the current virus advice, to make sure you book your tables in advance. I would suggest getting onto the Cuddie Brae booking site a week in advance and reserving your favourite table. Click the image below to do just that.

Get In Early!
It would be a great help if all teams could be there and ready for 745 pm. This will allow time to get any connection issues sorted as well as the handicapping in place ready to start.
