The Dipshits performed out of their skins to win yet another first prize at The Cuddie Brae SpeedQuiz. Their secret weapon, Jay, was on a night off and gave the team a much-needed brain cell boost.
It ended up a very convincing victory after they also won the bonus 100 points on the nearest wins question. Over the past few months, The Dipshits have had more than their fair share of wins. The impact of this has seen their handicap drop by over 200 points. It won’t be so easy over the coming weeks.

The Belters went to extreme lengths to tell me the questions were sh***!
Other than these outliers, there wasn’t a lot between the rest of the teams. The Rocks made their usual impressive climb up the table after starting in last place because of their previous amazing performances and their zero handicap.
Scrambled Eggheads performed as well as ever and just missed out on the win again. A few questions are all it takes to get those extra points to win.
The Leasks seem to be making the best of their handicap by getting a finish well into the top half.
Dumb & Dumber, well! For a team that always seemed to finish third they now live up to their team name.

Upcoming quizzes. It would be great to some of you come along to compete at one of our other venues. If you haven’t played at one of these other venues before, your handicap will start from the beginning giving most of you a great chance to win.
WANTED: New Venues
I am still in the search for a couple of new venues for the quiz. If any of you can suggest a new venue to me it would be appreciated. If you are also able to make an introduction to the person in charge at the venue that would be even better.

Halloween Is Coming!
31st October this year is a Thursday night.
We are offering bonus points for every team member who turns up in a fancy dress outfit, you have to make a half-decent attempt at this though!
There will also be a prize for the best fancy dress on the night, as voted for by all teams competing!
